Individual Coaching: $90/ session

Hi, I’m Trent Barnes (he/him), a dedicated Peer Support Specialist at Connected in Community. With personal and professional experience, I am uniquely prepared to support individuals who have encountered medical trauma, long-term disabilities, and daunting medical diagnoses. In 2012, I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Ball State University, laying the foundation for my career focused on serving the most vulnerable members of our community. I am currently pursuing my Masters Degree in Social Work at Indiana University.

As a Peer Support Specialist, my primary objective is to cultivate meaningful relationships and provide unwavering support to individuals navigating life's complexities. I bring forth specialized expertise in supporting Black men, teenagers, and individuals, like myself, who face the challenges of life as a Disabled person.

Outside of work, my greatest joy is being a #GirlDad to my 8-year-old daughter. The bond we share brings me immense happiness and fuels my dedication to creating a better future for her and others. In my leisure time, I cherish the moments spent with friends and family, embracing the joy of shared experiences and creating lasting memories.

No matter what seeking assistance in processing I am here to support you every step of the way. Together, we can navigate the unique challenges you face and work towards reclaiming a fulfilling and empowered life.
