Myranda Warden, LSW

Rand (all pronouns interchangeably) is a part-time therapist, peer support specialist, and group facilitator working with Queer and Trans people at Connected in Community. Their work focuses on mutual aid as a framework for liberating social work education and practice with and after licensure. Throughout and beyond their career, Myranda is deeply invested in group development, facilitation, and evaluation. Rand’s background also includes case management, mental health assessment, and psychiatric inpatient social work.  

Myranda is a proud Hoosier born and raised in Indianapolis. He received his BA and MSW at IUPUI and currently serves as a full-time lecturer at IU School of Social Work and the lead faculty of the groups curriculum. Additionally, she is an active member of the International Association of Social Work with Groups and continues to practice facilitating groups inside and outside of the classroom.
